I think we should have a brief intro on the front page. Something along the lines of "Who we are: This wiki was created by a group of senior students from the University of Illinois at Chicago Sociology department as a part of our undergraduate capstone course. Guided by our professor, Dr. Richard Barrett, we've started what we hope is an ever-growing collection of research and data on the city of Chicago."Or something like that. It'd add a bit of "we're not just making this up for fun" to the page. Do you find this valuable? |

Also, should we move the DePaul, UIC, Loyola, and NORC links to the "other sources" section, instead of other topics? Is that okay with you, Aaditi?

haha, I hadn't been clear; I had meant which would be better for the pages regarding other research agencies. It makes sense to merge the entire öther topics page into the öther sources page. I would also create separate pages for the funding foundations. Do you find this valuable? |
