Map USA is a map of the entire United States with interactive features that allow users to view color coded information drawn from the 2000 census.

This project is part of the American Communities Project at Brown University. The American Communities Project is one of several projects included in Spatial Structures in the Social Sciences at Brown. Dr. John Logan is the head of the American Communities Project.

-The smallest level of analysis is at the census tract level

-Major Roads- When viewing map closely enough.
-Local Streets- When viewing map closely enough.

-All data are gathered from the 2000 census
-Some variables included are from the census long form, a sample of about one in six housholds
